Since the expansions, the original site has remained a low-key corner neighborhood watering hole, but sports the same menu as the larger restaurants and game day is always a holiday. And it's always a nice place to just drop in for brew and conversation. Your next tip to keep in mind is that some vegetables should wait until later in the cooking process to be placed into the mix. The longer that these items cook, the mushier that they are going to be. Potatoes and similar vegetables are fine to put in at the start. These tend to need some extra time to cook. Carrots and celery can be added at the start if you want them to very mushy. If you wait until an hour before you serve them, you should find that they are tender and perfect. Heat a large skillet to medium high. Add beef, onion, and garlic, cook stirring frequently. Break up the meat with a wooden spoon for 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, oregano, and basil. Simmer for 5 minutes. Meanwhile in bowl, stir ricotta cheese and 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese. Spoon 1/3 of beef mixture into 5 quart slow cooker Beef Goulash. Break 3 lasagna in half and arrange over beef mixture. Then top with 1/2 of cheese mixture. Repeat with another layer and finish with remaining beef mixture. Cover slow cooker slow cooker beef goulash soup and cook on low setting for 4 to 6 hours. Remove cover, turn off heat and adjust seasoning. In a small bowl, combine remaining cheeses and sprinkle over beef mixture. cover and let set until cheese melts and lasagna firms up. Makes 6 servings. Ideally, a fat content of 15 to 20 percent makes the juiciest burger without adding gristle or too much grease. Many chefs recommend using a combination of chuck and sirloin to achieve the traditional Beef Goulash best taste and consistency. Personally, I really enjoyed this soup. The meat was a bit smoky and was less processed tasting than some stews and had a nice bite to it. The veggies were well portioned and not too mushy. The broth was savory and sweet and had a smoky attribute that balanced well with the meat and veggies, even if it was a bit too thin. Another idea would be gifts of private dinner tickets.
